Beware of the trade show vultures....

I absolutely love going to craft fairs and trade shows. For one, I love shopping itself and the best thing about these shows is the variety of wares for sale. I love talking to the vendors about their products and I love the atmosphere, provided there is room to move around.

The only thing I absolutely DREAD about these shows are what I call the VULTURES. Everyone knows these vendors- their eyes are constantly shifting about, looking to make eye contact with anyone and everyone who passes. If, God forbid, you do happen to make eye contact, that's it. You're instantly targeted and dragged over to look at wares you have absolutely no interest in buying. You don't dare say no- you might risk the evil dagger eyes or may risk hurting their "feelings". These may also be the vendors who become aggressive and have a suggestion for every polite excuse you may throw at them. They just don't seem to be able to recognize that YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED. The more they nag me, the LESS INTERESTED I become and the more likely I am to avoid their products in the future.



Aside from attending these events, I also love to present my products, as a vendor. MY GOAL is to have you WANT to approach ME. I may offer you a smile in passing, but I'll let you make up your own mind whether you approach me or not. WHY, you may ask?

BECAUSE- MY product line speaks for itself. I will not accost you or bully you into coming over because I KNOW I sell an AMAZING product from a TRUSTED company. I KNOW my product sells itself. I am CONFIDENT that if you try my product, you will LOVE it. The before-and-after pictures online are PROOF that my product works, as well as the RESEARCH done to support the effectiveness of my product. I want YOU to decide that YOU WANT to approach me.

One day you will see the word MONAT at my table and you will come looking for me!
